Ganesh Illustration. My first go at a full out illustration of this style.

This is a very good piece. You really captured the design of Ganesh, and all of the proper accoutrements that go with a portrayal of him. It is also instantly recognizable as art inspired by traditional Hindu depictions of the god, but also with a distinct personal flair. As for the art alone, it's crisp and clean, and reads easily to the eye. It's not as pleasant to some western observers as it could be (but that's ok), but that is due to your reverent adherence to the traditional depiction of Ganesh , which I applaud you for. I think this piece is a glowing success.

I often go to Hindu for inspiration. The whole religion is a fountain of creativity.

You really did a wonderful job on Ganesh. Almost as good a job as Shiva.
